Tracc + AI

Ask your assistant where it is.

Tracc speaks the Model Context Protocol, so Claude — or any tool that accepts an MCP server — can search your shelves, add what just arrived, and cut stock for a build, with the record to match.

Claude

Connect Claude in three steps

Works in Claude on the web, the desktop app and mobile. No key to copy: Claude signs in with your Tracc account.

  1. Sign in to Tracc

    Create a free account or sign in to the one you have. Robotics teams are free.

  2. Add a custom connector

    In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Tracc and paste https://mcp.tracc.app/mcp.

  3. Sign in when it asks

    Claude opens Tracc so you can sign in and allow it. Then just ask, in any conversation.

Claude Code

From the terminal

Add Tracc to Claude Code with one command, then run /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in. Handy for logging parts from a build script or a folder of datasheets.

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http tracc https://mcp.tracc.app/mcp

Any MCP client

Cursor, VS Code and everything else

Any tool that can use a remote MCP server over HTTP works. If it can sign in (OAuth), give it the address and sign in. If it can't, make an API key in Tracc under Settings → Connections → API keys and put it in the tool's config like this.

A key works for the whole organization, so keep it private and delete it when you're done with it.

mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "tracc": {
      "url": "https://mcp.tracc.app/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer <your-api-key>"
      }
    }
  }
}
